Roman Scheidl
Born in 1949 and living in Vienna, Roman Scheidl is a
master
of drawing. On his pre-determined experimental
journey to
new applications, the artist recently discovered glass, and
in working together with ECKELT he has created a number
of
motifs for screen-printing. They display the interaction
of
sensitive touch of drawing in a fine dancing light.
This concept has proven itself at ECKELT – one of the
factory
buildings is clad with their LITE-POINT system
using glass
with a Roman Scheidl design.
Artistically designed applications are possible
internally –
doors (as can be seen at Glasinform),
partitions,
showers
etc. but also externally –
facades, factory
buildings.
The design potential
is inexhaustible.
The
[Virtual Design studio] offers a range of
Scheidls
designs. To simulate a possible
application you can
manipulate colours
and
extracts of the design.
